Dr. Serio's research activity focuses on the study of plant nutrition, with the goal of improving the yield and qualitative performance of vegetables through technological innovations that also aim to guarantee the sustainability of the production process. In the last decade, research activity has focused on agronomic biofortification in a protected environment, using soilless cultivation systems.
